What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What exactly is a channel for marketing and why should an online marketer have one?

It's a strategy for marketing that you use to convince prospective customers to purchase your products. This is a sales process in which someone visits your website to look up information that will help them solve their issue. However, via certain tools, you will learn how to build an ongoing relationship with every visitor.

This will allow you to better be aware of the needs of each visitor. This will help you give the most accurate information to all visitors. Visitors will feel more confident purchasing your products if you have gained their trust. The visitor then becomes a customer.

Many customers turn into loyal customers over time and are more likely to purchase each item on your site. The marketing funnel is a collection of the various steps involved in converting visitors to customer who will buy anything you sell.

This is the ultimate goal. This can easily be accomplished with a well-constructed funnel.

Your efforts to market are capturing people's attention, and drawing them into your funnel. The funnel is opened once they fill out the forms that you have on your PERSONAL lead capture page. Because no one will opt in to your lead capture page, I said "personal". They are looking to become a leader, and not a business.

The page for lead capture is where they enter the funnel. When they click the "Sign up Now" or the "Enter here" buttons, they will be able to access a whole different universe of marketing through networks.

The most appealing aspect is that they are qualifying themselves to do it. It is their decision. They don't have to buy your services as a leader or mentor. You could also demonstrate to them ways to increase leads and bring more cash into their businesses.

This is how a typical marketing channel works.

To attract and qualify customers to your product, you need to offer them an opportunity to win a prize on the "front end". Sign-up is required to receive the free product.

Now you have those people on your email list and can send other similar offers to them that they might be interested in.

After signing to the offer, the user will be directed to a webpage that provides an affordable price, or what is known as a tripwire offer. This is the moment they are moving to the "back end" of the funnel.

If they purchase the bargain offer, they'll be taken on to a second related offer at an even more expensive cost (normally called an "upsell"). And if the person also purchases the higher-priced offer, they will again be taken to the next related product at an even higher cost. The process could continue for several more.
